The third and the latest season of ‘Orange Is the New Black’ introduced you to a new entrant in the prison. Not a person this time, but a novel authored by, none other than, Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren titled Time Hump Chronicles. This novel is based in outer space, and has a gripping tale of love and lust woven in it. This season also saw a bed bug scare in Litchfield, which resulted in the burning of the prison library. This incident worked in favour of Suzanne’s novel with almost everyone, across ages, reading and ‘devouring’ it. Here are 18 bits of trivia about this ‘super’ novel that will give you a heads up on its contents. Take a look:
1) The Love Triangle
The story begins with three characters named Edwina, Gilead (Gilly) and Space Admiral Rodcocker in a love triangle. Berdie described it as ‘obscene’ and ‘pornographic’ but to Crazy Eyes it was just ‘erotically inclined’. Now, that is a new term you learnt.
2) Edwina’s Description
Suzanne’s character sketch of Edwina describes her with freckles and an ample bosom. She sure took care of the two most important aspects of the woman’s anatomy. This generated from Berdie’s insistence on using one’s own imagination for such descriptions.
Donaldschlong was the original name of Admiral Rodcocker. Thank God, Suzanne changed it, although she feels that she made a mistake by changing it!
4) Rodcocker Is Based On C.O. Donaldson
Suzanne’s Hot Captain Admiral is based on the uniform clad C.O. Donaldson. She calls him his muse, and that she did not search for him, he just appeared in front of her.
