Agents of SHIELD is about to be back again. The ending of season 2 in May left many things in place to be picked up in the upcoming season. There are numerous plotlines whose resolution will make the show a must watch. These include the spread of the Terrigen Crystals, more Grant Ward, and the curious little cases of what happened to Simmons. It will add and expand the dimensions of the show as well as the Cinematic Universe of Marvel. Therefore, in several ways the development of this season of Agents of Shield will have an impact on the films down the line. We may also expect a potential tie-in to Captain America; Civil War. The show did take its own time to establish a fanbase, develop really badass characters, etc. Now in its third seasons, it must do all these on a more consistent basis. Listed down is all that you need to know about season 3.
10. The Rise of Hydra
We thought at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the aftermath that played out in Agents of SHIELD that Hydra was defeated and wiped out. They’ve been relegated to the margins and the shadow, scattered, and now they’re regrouping. Hydra has now regrouped under the leadership of, the source of the excitement, Grant Ward, posing a greater threat to S.H.I.E.L.D. and national security. We look forward to the treat that is Brett Dalton as Grant Ward.
9. Addition To The Cast
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is returning with largely the same core group of characters, but it has also made few additional characters of note. Let’s have a brief look at them. Constance Zimmer will portray a character by the name of Rosalind Price, the leader of new organization the Advanced Threat Containment Unit (ACTU).Other new additions include Andrew Howard as Banks, the “intimidating partner” of Price, and a new Inhuman by the name of Joey Gutierrez, who’ll be played by Juan Pablo Raba, recently seen in Netflix series Narcos.
